Our goal is to contribute to the zero traffic death vision and improve the environmental footprint of how light and electronics is used to improve driving vision.
For a big part of his life, Lars commuted between his home in Sundsvall and work as a driving instructor in Norway, a journey of 60 miles easy road. It became several lonely miles on dark, sparsely trafficked Scandinavian roads every week. As an experienced driver, Lars had of course equipped his car with the best auxiliary lights that the market could muster.
This led up to the innovation.
”During my travels I realized that the driving conditions in the dark were terrible, even with the latest technology. I had great vision ahead and the road was illuminated like an OlympicStadium. The problem was that the game rarely stood still in front of me as I came driving; three out of four times the animals suddenly emerged from the dark beside the road, jumping straight on to the road close in front of my car. It was more luck than skill that I escaped accidents during those years. I knew then that this had to be changed in order to save lives and reach up to the zero death goal in traffic. eRayzer is that change – finally we can create a truly safe driving environment.”
